New York University's Shanghai campus
hosts an Earth Day conference on Saturday
that has a little something for everyone. For the business people, they've got panel discussions from nonprofits, like Green Initiatives
and Zero Waste, and environmentally-friendly entrepreneurs. For families, they've got an eco-market with over fifteen vendors offering food, coffee, jewelry, household items, and clothes. At the end there's a workshop on creating your own green bathroom products. The event is run by NYU Shanghai's environmental student group Green Shanghai, who say they expect an attendance of around 100-150 people, made up of young professionals, students, and families. There's no cover and anyone affected by the environment is encouraged to join (aka everyone). Starts at 9.30am.
