With deep sadness, we join others in relaying news of the passing of ShanghaiExpat.com's founder, Michael Connolly, who died of a stroke on September 14, 2011. Although we only knew Michael, like many others in Shanghai, from across a digital divide, his kindness, positivity, and patience superseded these boundaries, and his passing is a great loss to the Shanghai community. Our sincerest condolences to his family and friends, in mourning a man who left the world a better place than when he found it. Click here to join with others in paying respects to Michael.
