Every Wednesday in August, Elevator's resident DJs teach workshops before their weekly Groov Lab party. Tonight it’s a production workshop with Shanghai Ultra.

Also tonight, Green Drinks Monthly Sustainability Forum has a discussion on the plastics problem and potential solutions like bio plastics.

LA skate brand RIPNDIP (the one with the mean cat) launches a pop-up shop at K11 Art Mall, featuring a spring-summer line exclusive to Shanghai. Music from Yeti Out a live rap set by Belliso and Peddler's Gin cocktails.

Laughs, groans, laughs. Aussie comedian Stephen Smith cracks wise at Cages on behalf of the Shanghai Comedy Club.

Bottles XO hosts a movie night, screening Red Obsession, a doc about the wine industry in China, narrated by Russell Crowe. Way to stay on theme, Bottles XO. A bunch of Bordeaux will be available at eminently affordable prices.

IB-Print Club and Shaving in The Dark Comics Collective host a workshop on the techniques of screen-printing. This one is pricy and needs registration but, oh, the joy of burning your own screen and one-of-a-kind t-shirts!
