Ah, the start of market season! Commune Market is back this weekend, go get your craft on. Also Shanghai Fashion Week (spring edition) is on till April 3, lots of interesting job fairs including one just for teachers, holiday stuff on this weekend in case you missed the Passover and Easter posts, and more.

The Spring iteration of SFW to take over Xintiandi from now till end of April. Each day has around eight shows, (from around 1pm-8pm), mostly invite-only but it's a chance for some grade-A people watching. Keep track of announcements on the Shanghai Fashion Week website. Speaking of Fashion Week...MoCA Shanghai's hosting: Akiko Fukai (Kyoto Costume Institute, Japan), Valerie Steele (The Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology, USA), and Sonnett Stanfill (Victoria and Albert Museum, UK) to discuss their past work. This fair'll have teacher development and lots of open teaching positions if you're looking. 30 International Schools will be represented.
