Shaving in the Dark, the collective of illustrators and editors who love to drink...and draw are having their one year anniversary party this Thursday at C's. It's also the launch of their 5th Zine, which you get a copy of with entrance. Expect the usual drink and draw stuff but there'll also be some music, body painting, and wall-drawing down in the dungeon that is C's.

*** Your time to mix and mingle with Seth Cohen types of Shanghai is Thursday starting at 8pm. Tickets'll be at the door; 50rmb gets you entrance, Zine #5, and a beer, (and a poster if you're one of the first 50 people in). The theme for this Zine is 'trips' documenting all kinds of travel of both body and mind. There'll be some stuff for purchase like SITD temporary tattoos and t shirts and those cheap cheap C's drinks. Lots of friendly cartoonists and artists will be in the house, if you're a writer looking for a creative partner, make moves. Read more about the SITD community and their drink and draws.
