More International Comedy Acts on the Way from KFK

On the heels of their quietly-produced Eddie Izzard show, Kung Fu Komedy is bringing in several more international headliners in the next couple of months. This week sees Wil Sylvince at the comedy club and next week they've got Dwayne Perkins. Details after the jump.


Wil Sylvince returns to Shanghai for another comedy show at the Kung Fu Komedy Club. He's appeared on Comedy Centra, HBO's Def Comedy Jam, and Showtime. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Sylvince honed his comedy skills at some of New York's top comedy clubs. You can get an idea of his act here on Youtube. Tickets are 170rmb in advance or 200rmb at the door. Starts at 9pm on Friday, and 8pm and 10pm on Saturday.

Dwayne Perkins returns to Shanghai for a weekend at KFK. He's appeared on Conan, the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and he released his own Netflix special "Take Note" in 2016. He performs on Friday March 24 at 9pm and Saturday March 25 at 8pm and 10pm. Tickets are 170rmb in advance or 200rmb at the door.

Next month, they've got Paul Ogata and Martin Morrow headlining and the first week of their Comedy Festival which starts on April 24. Check back on the Wire for more details as we get them.
