One of the most successful musicals of all time comes to China. This is an English-language production (with Chinese subs) of Andrew Lloyd Webber's long-running hit musical. Originally adapted from TS Eliot's whimsical poems about the personalities and sociology of cats, the performance features the classic songs “Memory” and “Magical Mr. Mistoffelees”. It's the story of the hidden society, rules and manners of felines, and it's won over fans across the globe. Jelical cats come out tonight! From Jun 7 to Jun 30 shows are located in Shanghai Culture Square. From Jul 25 to Jul 28 shows are located in Shanghai Grand Theatre. Tickets available right here.

Wednesday, July 25 to Friday, August 24

A wintery spectacle in the heart of summer! Alice in Wonderland on Ice is a retelling of Lewis Carrol's story, presented by the Russian Ice Theater. With nearly 10 years of experience, it's created more than 20 productions, and performed around the world. Composed of professional skaters and acrobats, including champions from Olympic, American and European skate competitions, and with a musical score by composers Gennadiy Gladkov and Aleksey Rybnikov, the Ice Theater has created an artistic, dramatic vision of Alice's foray into the land of the March Hare, the Mad Hatter, smiling cats, odd caterpillars, mice, and the infamous Queen of Hearts. All-Russian Ice Dance champion Anna David Dengke plays Alice. "She found herself at last in the beautiful garden, among the bright flower-beds and the cool fountains..."
