Beyond Contemporary Art at The Shanghai Art Museum exhibit important pieces from different periods of the Jian Guo Xu’s career. The 80 Chinese and oil paintings tell an artistic and personal story spanning more than forty years, including Mr. Xu’s journey from China to the United States, from a student to a professional artist.
