Washington, DC-based pianist/composer Burnett Thompson returns to Shanghai to present an evening of William Shakespeare’s sonnets of love, beauty and mortality set to original music. This project is the latest in The Silent Shakespeare and the Sonnets series. The Silent Shakespeare and the Sonnets series has included performances at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, the Goethe Institute, the Shakespeare Theatre, and the National Arts Club in New York.
