Face is a group exhibition featuring the work of 76 artists exploring ideas of portraiture. The show will effectively track the progression of the art form in Chinese art from the 1950s through to the present day. Curated by JuXin He and Xiaoli Guo, the exhibition seeks to examine possibilities and process, placing more emphasis on how to draw a person than on the finished work. The show will also include specially commissioned pieces by some of China's leading contemporary artists.
