Brawl on the Bund is back for the sixth time, this year even bigger and better than 2011. The night attracts over 1,000 people for a black-tie dinner, freeflow booze and to watch 8 boxing fights with regular people in Shanghai who have been professionally trained for the last three months. Having raised over 420,000rmb for charity last year, this year sees the event move to Kerry Hotel to double the numbers for one of the mainstays on Shanghai's social calendar. - Boxers have trained for a minimum of 12 weeks - Bouts are contested over 3 rounds of 2 minutes with 1 minute intervals - Scoring is based 20 points from each of the three judges per round - Three standing 8 counts in a round will result in referee stopping contest - The referee can stop the bout at any stage if the safety of either boxer is compromised - Four Course Dinner designed by Kerry Hotel Executive Chef Otto Goh - Champagne provided by Taittinger (Ringside tables only) - Wine provided by ever wines - Cocktails created by Grand Marnier - Beer provided by Tiger Beer
