island6 Arts Center presents Across the Waibaidu this springtime. The group exhibition sees the Liu Dao art collective explore alternate perspectives of the Chinese people throughout the 20th century, from the heady debauchery of the 1930s to the turmoil and terror of the 1940s and 1950s.The show will examine differences in lifestyle, priorities and outlooks of Shanghai citizens living through these tumultuous times through LED artworks, photographs and mixed media installations.
