Art Labor gallery present Shanghainese artist Wang Qing in solo show, Deep Thinking, Shallow Intent, opening at the Yongjia Lu space this May. Having spent almost two decades in Tokyo, Japan, winning numerous awards and receiving his PhD from Tokyo Fine Arts University, the artist has amassed a significant body of work. Featured in this exhibition will be works from his Coming & Going series, as well as newer paintings, dealing with the theme of the inter-generational conflict so commonly found in families in China today.
