OV Gallery's newest show shines a spotlight on the oft overlooked tradition of Chinese abstract art. Largely eclipsed by more figurative work so popular amongst foreign collectors, the abstract pieces on display use tools of line, rhythm, repetition, texture and color to evoke a diverse array of ideas, from exploring the unknown, the fragility and mystery of organic life, group dynamics, tension and more. Featured artists include Bai Yiluo, Chai Yiming, Chen Xi, Lore Vanelslande and Monika Lin.
