Summer Show 2012 is an exhibition of fourteen young art and design graduates from the Academy of International Visual Arts (AIVA). In the last year, this new generation of creatives from China has been working within and between five different art and design disciplines: fine art, jewellery design, product design, animation and moving image, and visual communication. Students’ works experiment with a diverse range of traditional and contemporary media, exploring themes surrounding identity, childhood memory, social issues and more. Featured artists include Bao Yangyi, Chen Siyu, Lao Zheng and Mao Zihan.
