Other Gallery presents an exhibition of photographs by German artist Martin Klimas. The show, Movements, comprises two series, Kung Fu Warriors (2004-2008) and newer works Foulard (2011). Klimas is best known for works exploring the moment of impact of Chinese figurines, dropped from a height of 3 meters, capturing the image in one seventh of a millisecond. Elsewhere, silk scarves provide the thematic background for an exploration of the pictorial character of these fashion accessories, minimalist geometric patterns and luminous silk.
