This looks good: acclaimed contemporary abstract painter Ding Yi has a solo show at Long Museum this summer. Called What's Left to Appear, that features new works created this year. Especially made for the space, the large-scale paintings incorporate thick layers of lacquer-like paint scored through to reveal layers of color, structured as always by Ding's trademark grid idiom. Alongside those newest works will be some 100 further paintings and drawings on media including canvas, tartan and paper. Opens 6 June, 5pm; 50rmb
