2/F, 3rd Period Clubhouse, Yanlord Gardens, 99 Pucheng Lu, near Shangcheng Lu,
浦东新区浦城路99弄, 仁恒滨江园三期会所二楼, 近商城路
A solo show by Jiangxi-born Yang Yihang, My Studio Got Flooded Because Shanghai is organized by Aqua Arts Foundation and features 15 of the young artist's oil paintings. Inspired by the mountains and lakes of his hometown, Yang's richly-textured works celebrate the natural world. Abstract in style and sometimes featuring collage elements, his huge canvases are well worth a look. To go visit, RSVP to cecilia[at]aquaartsfoundation.com. Please note, viewings are only possible on work days (Mon-Friday, 11am-5pm), and the gallery is not in the main Aqua space, so please don't just show up.
