Jiang Piangyi is a big deal in the world of Chinese contemporary art. This fall, he's showing new photography series Grace at M50 mainstay, ShanghART. The artist has shown at the gallery before - notably those incredible firefly photos back in 2014. Here he's sticking with the natural-meets-experimental theme by way of large-scale gelatin silver photographs and antique developing technologies. The series charts changes in landscapes around the Arctic Circle and various countries in the Southern Hemisphere over a period of three years. Shown alongside is Trace which incorporates darkroom experiments in Polaroid. Grandly opens Friday, 9 September, 4-7pm
