The Macao Portuguese Restaurant specializes in grilled, BBQ, and seafood dishes, but also offers a number of Filipino dishes at affordable rates. A diner-like atmosphere, The Macao is a favorite of the local Filipino expats, and a great option for budget dining in the north Jing'an areas. Try their grilled Portuguese dishes. But start with the shrimp toast. Also look out for their affordable lunch set specials (28rmb on weekdays) and weekend brunchs (50rmb all-you-can-eat).
