Lotus Eatery is a cheap and tiny family-run restaurant serving the exotic tribal cuisine of far-flung Yunnan Province. Dishes skew heavily toward spiciness of the Southeast Asian variety. Ingredients are as diverse as the peoples of the region: lots of dishes featuring wild mushrooms, flowers, the odd insect or two, and other standbys like Yunnan-style fried goat cheese.
