One of Eduardo Vargas’s more successful projects, the original Casa 13 was a popular Mediterranean restaurant with a lovely terrace -- and licensing issues. Eventually, the latter forced its relocation, so Casa 13 packed up its toys and moved into the one-time Balthazar lane house. Dining, drinking and lounging happen across three and a half floors, with a little outdoor courtyard and a roof top terrace. A few favorites from the old Casa 13 have come through intact, but it's mostly a new menu, organized by main ingredient, and intended for sharing. Lots of wines under 200rmb.
