Brought to you by a couple of well-travelled Shanghai nightlife concerns (ex-owners of OZNZ and Dragon), Amber lounge is a late night bar that keeps it going well after others leave off. Although it's open during normal club hours, it's one of Shanghai's main after-hours destinations, with late night (or early morning rather) business that turns up at 3, 4, 5 in the morning and stays on well into the next day. It used to be around the corner but relocated in November 2013 to the place where that old Klub Turbo Vision used to be. It's hard to find, inside a hotel complex, in a building with not much of a sign, up on the third floor. Drinks are Shanghai standard (50rmb-80rmb or so) and music is provided by a rotating cast of Shanghai circuit DJs — house, tech and anything in between.
