The Shanghai EDITION is marking its eighth anniversary with TURN 8 INTO ∞, a 10-day programme of dining experiences, guest bartenders, parties and special events running from July 30 to August 8.

Since opening in 2018, the hotel has established itself as one of Shanghai's best-known lifestyle hotels, combining restaurants, bars, nightlife and design under one roof. Rather than focusing on a single anniversary party, the celebrations are spread across multiple venues throughout the property, with different events taking place over the course of ten days.

One of the highlights is The Taste of Eight Years, a limited-time menu featuring eight signature dishes alongside eight cocktails inspired by some of the hotel's most recognisable creations. The collection revisits favourites from the past eight years while introducing them in a new format for the anniversary.

The programme also includes a one-night guest bartender takeover across Punch Room, YONE Restaurant & Bar and the Lobby Bar. Visiting teams from Penrose in Kuala Lumpur, Vender Bar in Taichung and Barback in Dali will each take over one of the hotel's bars for an evening of special cocktails and guest shifts.

Weekend programming continues with the return of Brunch Rave 2.0, combining brunch, DJs, wellness activities and rooftop city views during the day. After dark, Electric Circus brings the focus back to nightlife with DJs, cocktails and late-night parties.

Throughout the anniversary period, restaurants, bars and public spaces across the hotel will host food, drink and entertainment experiences tied to the celebration, making it less of a single event and more of a hotel-wide festival.
