Last updated: 2017-05-08

If you’re sticking around Shanghai this summer, it doesn’t mean you have to be stuck with your kids. SmartShanghai is here to help with a list of activities to keep the little ones busy on their summer break—and hey, they might even pick up a skill or two along the way. We have compiled a list of various activities to suit an array of personality types and interests from skateboarding to dancing to filmmaking. If you’re a vindictive parent we even found some academic programs to keep those brains working while school’s out.
