The Shanghai Travel Card is a sightseeing pass designed for international tourists (holders of Hong Kong/Macau Resident Permits, Taiwan Resident Permits, or foreign passports) to explore Shanghai’s top attractions at discounted rates. It is guided by the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and organized by the Shanghai Tourism Industry Association, in cooperation with LINKTIVITY for overseas promotion.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Full refund: Available if no bookings are made, until December 31, 2025.
  • Partial refund: After the deadline, a 20% handling fee applies.
  • No refund: If any bookings are made.
  • Project cancellations: Some attractions do not allow cancellations (check the booking platform).

Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility: Only for foreign passport holders or HK/Macau/Taiwan resident permit holders.
  2. Non-transferable: One card is valid for one person (adults/children require separate cards).
  3. Validity: Consecutive days from activation; expires if unused.
  4. Child Policy: Free entry depends on attraction rules; children may need their own card.
  5. Art Galleries: Limited to one reservation per venue; some exhibitions may be closed for changes.
