Russian pianist Andrey Gugnin brings his “One-Man-Show Classical” recital to Shanghai Grand Theatre on April 16, 2026. Known for his virtuosic technique and expressive interpretations, Gugnin will perform a program spanning Grieg, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, and Liszt.
Part of the One-Man-Show Classical series, this recital features Andrey Gugnin performing both lyrical and technically demanding repertoire. The program is split into two halves: the first includes Grieg’s Lyric Pieces, Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty Suite arranged by Mikhail Pletnev, and Stravinsky’s Petrushka. After intermission, Gugnin presents Liszt’s 12 Transcendental Etudes, showcasing his mastery of the piano.
