This concert brings together harp and flute in a wide-ranging classical program. The repertoire moves from impressionist works by Debussy to dramatic ballet excerpts by Prokofiev, virtuosic adaptations of Paganini, and the tango-inspired suite Histoire du Tango by Piazzolla. The program includes both solo and collaborative pieces, highlighting the expressive range and technical possibilities of the two instruments.
Luiza Mintsaeva began studying harp at age nine and graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Musical Performance in 2014 before continuing her studies at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. She has won numerous international awards, including first prize at the 2018 International Concerto Competition, and has served as a jury member for several international music competitions. She has held principal and guest soloist positions with multiple orchestras and, since 2024, has been a harp soloist with the musicAeterna Orchestra under Teodor Currentzis.
Hungarian flutist Gergely Ittzes is a member of the UMZE Chamber Ensemble and the founder of the TeTraVERSI flute quartet. He has appeared as a soloist with orchestras including the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra, Toronto Sinfonietta, New York Bach Ensemble, and Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra. Holding a doctorate from the Liszt Academy of Music, he has received numerous international awards and is currently on faculty at The Tianjin Juilliard School.
