A giant two-story flagship store on Nanjing Xi Lu, dedicated to the Irish Champagne, the Ebony Nectar, the lifeblood of Eire (at least according to the Guinness marketing department). Occupying the entire south-west corner of 1788 Plaza across from Jing'an Temple, it's broken into a ground-floor giftshop (with taps for pouring Guinness), a second floor sports pub sort of thing (minus screens, plus seven more taps for pouring Guinness than most sports pubs) and a dining/events area across the atrium (with taps for pouring Guinness). Food is so-so, cocktails are so-so, but the Guinness (despite not coming in the full 590ml pintglasses) is some of the cheapest in the city at 52rmb, especially during happy hour, and poured with a practiced hand.
