Earthy, comfortable, warm, dog-friendly, and eminently chill, Wigwam sits perfectly between a listening bar and a club or lounge. Open daily from noon to 3am, it’s a great place to come relax and have long conversations with friends or just space out and listen to tunes on the excellent soundsystem. Seating is ample (including spots to lay down), they have hookah, and the drinks are solid. Musically, the place leans more organic, anywhere between deeper house and techno, dub, ambient, and occasionally reggae and live electronic music. On the weekends they usually have someone from the underground scene DJing, and sometimes there’s a cover depending on the booking. People dance. Originally from Beijing, there’s really nowhere else like this club. It’s downstairs in C-Park, the Changning mall that’s home to several other underground venues.
