Here's a little feelgood sumthin-sumthin to get your week started. A new charity fundraising group, FLY Society, is holding a dinner at Colca North Bund. The group's composed of a handful of media types and general F&B goons looking to put together something new and light-hearted. The dinner this Wednesday at 7pm is the non-profit group’s first event; full dinner buffet of Spanish Spanish salmoerjo soup, Peruvian solterito salad, Cuban grilled chicken, shepherd's pie, Peruvian pork adobo, flan and apple pie, plus laughter yoga, stand-up comedy sets and live ukulele music from the Ukuladies.

All proceeds of the evening will benefit Heart to Heart Shanghai, a fund providing corrective surgery for Chinese children with congenital heart disease. Tickets are 300rmb a seat, including one drink. Scan the event poster's QR code to reserve.
