In the Wonderful World of Markets This Weekend...

Mar 14, 2017 | 15:21 Tue
The weather's looking mighty fine today and we're hoping it'll last through the week. There's three nice markets happening over the weekend, and the two happening outdoors could certainly use the sun. Details on the markets inside.

Jiashan Market happens on the first and third Saturday of every month, hosted in the old factory courtyard in the heart of the Former French Concession. The market showcases around 30 of Shanghai’s artisan F&B producers. No entry fee. Runs 11am to 4pm.

Shanghai Centre's farmers' market returns on Saturday, March 19. Over 30 vendors offering fruits and vegetables, homemade items, and more. Happens in the Plaza. Runs from 10am-3pm. No cover.

The popular Commune Market is hosting vendors trading in "Spring Discoveries" -- designer jewelry and clothes to vintage, accessories, art pieces, decorative housewares, handcrafted beer, body products, apothecary, eyewear and collectibles, and more. No entry fee. Runs 11am to 7pm.
