Such is the way of things: rugby-dedicated Dagu Lu sports bar Caxton closed down. Its enormous, fruity eponymous cocktail and jalapeno poppers will be fondly remembered, as will its boba pizza with... mixed feelings. No time to grieve! D.O.C. reopened on Dagu Lu yesterday in the spot that used to be the Foam Heaven beermarket. They've imported most of their Dongping Lu menu, plus some new items, and they're pushing their bar and patio with a Spritz Social happy hour that translates to Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, wine, Peroni and Arancini balls starting at 25rmb at 4pm, and going up 5rmb every hour until 8pm.
