This being Shanghai, Thanksgiving is an international event open to interpretation. In the strict American traditionalist view, which means sliced turkey, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce, or something in that format, you've got Portmans's (358rmb), The Blind Pig (398rmb), The Spot (198rmb), SH Slim’s (488rmb), Bourbon Cookhouse (198rmb), Boxing Cat (388rmb), The Rooster (150rmb) and Al's Diner (168rmb).
In the more creative category, Cloud 9 is doing a tapas Thanksgiving with sangria (358rmb); the Commune Social does a mod Euro sharing menu (688rmb per couple); Bohemia offers dinner for two including grilled sausages, black truffle soup and a ribeye steak (598rmb per couple); Alla Torre does it Italian style with a sausage risotto and veal tenderloin (298rmb per couple); Latina goes Brazlian with slow-roasted turkey (258rmb); Tacolicious promises a "twist"; Chez Jojo does it French-style (298rmb); and The Tandoor marinates its turkey in Indian spices as part of a four-course meal (348rmb).
Still not doing it for you? Maybe try one of these turkey rice places that we highlighted in a 2015 article, and are still going strong.
