Los of buzz around town about Shanghai's very own Edition hotel opening up in June. In anticipation of that, the boutique hotel chain is hosting in the concerns behind their "Punch Room" venue in London for three nights of cocktail pop-ups this week in three venues around town. "Guests will experience the bar’s world-famous offering ahead of its arrival at The Shanghai EDITION." What to expect: "The focus at the Punch Room is to give you a taste of some tea drinking traditions, which is why we recommend the jasmine tea infused punch bowl. All varieties of drinks can be ordered as individuals or to serve up to 8 people." Maybe go with groups of cocktail swilling friends. Dates and locations: el Ocho, Monday April 9, 7pm-11pm; Atelier, Tuesday April 10, 7pm-11pm; Union Trading, Wednesday, April 11, 7pm-11pm. Chin chin.
