PALACE 26 SHANGHAI Limited Edition Released!
British skate label Palace is officially landing in Shanghai. The brand will hold two days of lottery-based preview access this weekend, on May 23 and 24, before fully opening its Zhangyuan store in Jing'an shortly after. The space marks PALACE's first permanent location in mainland China.
Founded in London in 2009, PALACE started as a skate crew project before turning into one of the most recognizable names in global streetwear. Often compared to Supreme, though with a more chaotic, tongue-in-cheek British energy, the brand built its reputation through graphic-heavy drops, skate videos, and collaborations with labels including Gucci, Nike, The North Face, and Barbour.
The Shanghai opening also comes with a city-exclusive capsule collection built entirely around local references. The "Shang-Hi" range includes biker jackets, sports jerseys, hoodies, T-shirts, and accessories featuring PALACE's signature Tri-Ferg logo alongside Shanghai-inspired graphics, a Chinese zodiac rabbit mascot, and nods to the city skyline. The standout piece is reportedly a Tri-Ferg tee referencing the Oriental Pearl Tower, a pretty direct love letter to Shanghai's most recognizable landmark.
The store itself is located inside Zhangyuan, the restored heritage compound in Jing'an that has become one of the city's luxury retail hotspots. PALACE previously tested the waters with a Julu Lu pop-up back in 2019, but this looks like a much more permanent move. The Shanghai-exclusive capsule will only be available in-store.
