Osteria Italian restaurant on Jinxian Lu celebrates its third anniversary with the "Shuck n' Suck 2011." Celebrity Champion Oyster Shucker Patrick McMurray will be there to showcase super fresh imported oysters and offer shucking lessons. Then, the main event: A competition to see who can shuck and suck down the most oysters in three minutes. Admission is 255rmb. This gets you free-flow oysters, snacks, wine, and beer. All participants will receive Patrick's Oyster Shucking Kit: an oyster knife, oyster puck, cloth, and T-shirt. Starts 6.30pm. To participate in the competition, be sure to register by November 14.
