1:15pm - Arrive to find 2 other parties on the deck. 1 waitress.

1:23pm - Waitress acknowledges our presence.

1:29pm - Finally told to sit anywhere. Should have taken this as a bad sign.

1:45pm - Menus arrive. Decide to be proactive and immediately order.

2:15pm - 1 pitcher of watered down mimosa arrives.

2:34pm - Sad plate of breakfast pastries arrives. 2 pieces each variety (note we're a party of 4). Quality is ok but not worth the lead time.

3:05pm - 3 of 4 main courses arrive. The 4th will be another 10 min behind. Egg scrambles are pretty decent but by this time we're all too over it to really notice.

3:25pm: Come to the general consensus of NEVER AGAIN.

Went there on a sunny Sunday for Brunch. One competitive advantage they have is their quiet terrace to enjoy the last sunny days before it gets too cold.

128RMB gets you one starter, one main + a free basket of mini pastries to share and unlimited coffee or tea, so speaking of money, it’s a pretty good deal.

What happened to us is that service truly spoiled the food experience.

There are like 2 waitresses for the whole terrace and they just can’t handle it when it gets busy. We waited for like 20 minutes to have drinks (note that coke had run out of bubbles) and 45 minutes to have the main. After that, it just continued to be a nightmare to get served reasonably quickly. They just fail to do so. I saw my pizza put on the wooden bar by the chef and like 10 minutes passed before the waitress came to give it to me. I even avoided to complain about the pizza being cold-ish when served as I thought it would be a mission for the waitress to get it warm again.

Nothing to say on the food though, I really liked their Greek yogurt and the cream pizza. The beef with spinach and French fries was also well cooked and delicious. Some of the mini pastries were a bit too oily for our taste but well, it’s almost nothing.

I truly regret that I will not be back because of the service. Eventually they will improve this part if they want their Brunch to be successful in the future.
