Remember that Thai Boat Noodles spot that we wrote about a few months ago, when they opened a shop near Nanjing Dong Lu? Unlike most Thai restaurants in town, they bring the true flavor, with burning chili, vinegar, fish sauce, and sugar, in a kitchy space with old Thai movie posters, decent milk tea, and lots of grilled snacks. And at 20rmb a bowl for the noodles, you cannot go wrong. They have opened in Xintiandi, in that new, kind of half-done Soho Fuxing Plaza. Here is the listing. Go. Really hope they never localize the taste.
