Burger and wanghong Cantonese empire Charlie's (the Canto arm is Yang Lao Tu) is on a tear. Charles Zeng, the Charles behind Charlie's, has announced that he's taking over the former Tsui Wah location on Fumin Lu, next to Funkadeli, and turning it into a Cantonese restaurant called Lucky You Cafe. Plans to open in early October. Meanwhile, he's also taken the former De Refter space in Found 158 and will open a Charlie's there. Open late? It's the pit. Of course open late. Expect underground cheeseburgers and milkshakes in September.
