With the holidays in full swing, some parents are out desperately searching up and down for the ever-elusive Nintendo Wii to put a smile on their young ones' faces. Many moons ago, though, it was the FC Twin Video Game System, a clone console that plays both Nintendo and Super Nintendo cartridges, which changed Sun Dawei's life. "To tell you the truth, I couldn't say no to any of the FC games." Nowadays, Sun Dawei is known as Sulumi, the founder of Sanshui Records, China's most notable electronic music label. Highly influenced by the beeps and bleeps of 8- and 16-bit games along with Aphex Twin and Yellow Magic Orchestra, Sulumi is ready to make some noise in Beijing on Friday (@ White Rabbit) and in Shanghai on Saturday (@ The Shelter): "I like all kinds of music and sounds including rock, pop, hip-hop. But I am trying to make dance music that has beats that can actually kill most of the other club music."
