Federer Confirmed to Play at Shanghai Masters

Aug 1, 2017 | 15:59 Tue
Fresh off his Wimbledon win, Roger Federer has confirmed he will be playing at the
Shanghai Rolex Masters 2017. The premiere tennis event of Shanghai, it's a week long tournament for the world's best in men's tennis. Tickets now available on SmartTicket. More details after the jump.

Shanghai Masters is a place for top players to serve, slice, and rally for prize money and ranking. There'll be 99 matches to spectate, both singles and doubles...and lots of grunting. Last year, Andy Murray took first place in singles and Americans John Isner and Jack Sock took the title in doubles. This year, the full list of players has yet to be announced, but with Federer's (the 2014 champ, half man, half machine) return, things are sure to be interesting. As in previous years, the tournament will be held at Qizhong Forest Tennis Center and will take place from October 8 to 15.

Tickets range in price; from October 8-12 daily passes will start at 160rmb, 260rmb for closer seats, and 460rmb for court side. For October 13 tickets range from 280-680rmb, and for the finals 480-1580rmb. Get your tickets here.
