Shanghai's biggest running event happens this Sunday, drawing big crowds and many of the world's best runners. A man and a woman will have a chance at walking away with a 45,000 US dollars each. If you manage to break the world record, that's another 100,000 US dollars in winnings. In addition to the full marathon, there's also a half marathon, 10km run, and mini marathon. Sign up ended in September, but you can still watch from the sidelines.
The race starts at 7pm on Sunday at the Bund and will see many of Shanghai's main streets closed during the race period. Find a map of the race and more details on the Shanghai Marathon website.
