Fans of big, terrific hats and horses trotting briskly and jumping over things at a world class level, the annual Longines Global Champions Tour is returning this weekend to the Expo Horse Riding Park (yes), and you should get your tickets right here.

*** The Longines Global Champions Tour brings together the Top 30 ranked show jumpers in the world to compete in prestigious locations around the globe for unprecedented prize money. At their annual event, they host Olympic, World, and Continental Champions as they battle fiercely -- FIERCELY, in the fashion-world sense of the term -- for the title of overall season Champion of Champions 2017. But it's all about the hats! Lovely. You can check out some highlights from last year's Shanghai competition on YouTube. All the riders, horses, and tertiary information on the webpage right here. Tickets: What's that you ask? Why yes, SmartTicket is selling tickets for this. We've got tickets for just the Sunday left. That's the "Table A: Against the Clock with Jump-Off" event starting at 11.30am. We're surmising there will be plenty of jumping "against the clock" as it were. Our tickets are for North Stage seating for 570rmb. Getting There: Just like Strawberry Festival, you'll want to take Line 8 to the China Art Museum station. Go out Exit 4 and it's a quick walk from there. Here is a map. Peep the VIP section – it's the size of a parking lot.
