Solid group exhibition WE: A Community of Chinese Contemporary Artists comprises works by a total of 57 artists whose practice spans painting, sculpture, installation and performance. The whole shebang aims to celebrate K11 and K11 Art Foundation's various activities these past few years -- curator Jiang Ye, for example, is the first to be trained by the organization. The show's divided up into four main parts: Perception/ Experience; Substance/ Language; Phenomenon/ Event; and Theater/ Performance. To that end, expect a who's who of young artists -- Lu Yang (Cancer Babies and Uterusman), Geng Yini, Chen Wei, Hu Jieming and Cheng Ran, for example -- as well as more established talents like Zhang Enli and Zhang Peili. There's also a program of lectures and interactive performances taking place in the basement spot every Sunday afternoon during the exhibition. Admission is 50rmb during the week and 80rmb on the weekend.
