The orignator of Pop Art returns to Shanghai again this fall, this time in the form of his seminal Shadows series. Created between 1978-79, they mark the culmination of the artist's interest in shadows. The silk-screened canvas panels, shown end-to-end to form a single 'installation' whose size depends on the exhibition space, are typically bright, the shadows themselves alternating between positive and negative. On loan from Dia Art Foundation in New York, the works show a different side to Warhol. Recommended. Tickets: TBA
