The China Arts Festival is the highest-level and most influential national cultural and art event in China. During the festival, the China Art Museum will host three national-level big scale exhibitions: the National Excellent Art Exhibition, the National Excellent Calligraphy Engraving Exhibition, and the National Excellent Photography Exhibition. The participating artists come from 31 provinces, districts, cities, including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions. It not only displays the famous masters of the old age, but also the latest creations of many young artists who have emerged in recent years. The exhibits are rich in content and diverse in form, including 610 pieces of fine artworks, 319 pieces of calligraphy and engraving works, and 270 pieces of photographs (groups). The total number of works is nearly 1,200 pieces. This exhibition is completely free and will continue until mid-August. During the three-month exhibition period, various types of public education and cultural events will be organized at the China Art Museum and various districts in Shanghai.
