So, Kakadu and its sister restaurant Sweet & Sour; neither are Canadian, but the owner's wife is. Kakadu on Jianguo has a buffet dinner on Monday for 188rmb per person. That includes oven roasted turkey with gravy and cranberry sauce, roasted pork with apple sauce, baked barramundi, mashed potato and pumpkin, seasonal vegetables, macaroni and cheese, salads, breads, fresh fruit, and warm pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Sounds pretty damn good.
Then over on Nanjing Xi Lu, Sweet & Sour has a Chinese-style banquet dinner with egg rolls, ginger, beef, and some other shiz. There's eight or nine courses total and it's 148rmb per person. That one happens at 7pm on Friday, October 16.
Big Bamboo is celebrating at all their locations from Oct 10-12, with a 188rmb set meal that involves an appetizer, turkey or ham, apple or pumpkin pie, and a drink for 180rmb (88rmb for kids). They've also got happy hour on Canadian Club and Moosehead during these three days.
As for Canadian places that aren't celebrating, Massé has been trying to procure some turkeys, but apparently the turkey market is dry these days. They're shooting for American Thanksgiving. Finally, Tock's has nothing planned, but their Henan Lu shop should have poutine as usual.
