Shanghai veteran Cotton's turns a sprightly 17 years old on October 17. When the picturesque Xuhui mansion — one of the oldest Western-style dinner spots in town — opened up waaaay back when, the restaurant's ever-cheerful namesake said she hoped it would last "ten, twenty, thirty years." Nearly old enough to drink, Cotton! They're celebrating with food, drink, and live music from Dr. Stone/Yusuf and DJ Mudonnah.

C's Bar needs no introduction. The birthing pool for the teeming masses of DJs, party promoters and event organizers, this sin dungeon has managed to wrestle two decades of existence from the bony grasp of Death itself. An absolute legend. They're celebrating on October 15 with free entry, starting at 9pm, and DJs Ozone (Antidote, Dada), Howell aka Drunk Monk (SVBKVLT, ALL, Shelter), MauMau (Elevator), Heatwolves (Love Bang, Hologram Dreams), Compact Dicks (Specters)... and more TBC.
