There's nothing like fresh crusty bread in the mornings for breakfast, alongside a steaming pot of ground coffee. Bonjour Baguette, a brand new delivery service sent out their first batch to a handful of eager customers on the last day of September, and we get the feeling that the offer is soon going to prove all too popular. They offer a range of scrumptious, crusty French breads delivered anytime you like between 6am-10pm every Saturday. The bread follows traditional French sourdough recipes, resulting in an ideal texture and crispy outer crust. All the bread is handmade and baked in a real traditional stone oven brought specially from France. There are currently 7 options available to order: Classic Baguette, Sesame Baguette, Whole Wheat Baguette, French Loaf, Raisin Loaf, Croissant, and Petit Pain Au Chocolat. We tried all the breads (not the croissants) earlier this week. And although we couldn't really call ourselves bread connoisseurs, each loaf really was both fluffy yet dense, and freshly satisfying. All breads are just 14rmb each (2 croissants for 14rmb). Minimum delivery is for four consecutive Saturdays, valued to 35rmb or more each time, within Puxi's inner ring road.
